Ghost town until the middle of September…Plus in late August the Elephant Hill fire reach south east part of the South Cariboo and schools couldn’t open due to being either in an evac area or on alert. Plus Canim Lake fires in mid August evacuated whole communities..Some families and business were evacuated 3 different times. A lot of us stuck in behind road blocks , couldn’t leave… fire to the north, to the south , east and to the west.( 2000 people with little to no supply’s for 2 weeks where I live) more in other pocket communities. We were basically a ghost town from July 6th to September 10th.”
